Hey everybody, welcome once again to Deeptons Audio.
Yes, and this is episode 2 of Deep Things of Power.
So we did an introduction last week and now we're in episode 2.
So thank you so much for joining us thus far, and we are very
glad to have you. So welcome once again to
Deepton's ordeal. So today's topic or question is
why power? So knowing that God has given us
power is not enough to work in it, although it's still very
vital that we know that we have the power.
The knowledge bank is very important.
Now if there's no response by creation, then there's no power
like we So last week that lawlessness is present in the
absence of power. Authority is something that goes
hand in globe with power. When you hear power, you also
see authority. Authority in this case is the
legitimacy to use power. You can also say that in this
case, this power is force of compliance.
But without authority, you can't operate in power.
What does that mean? That means even if you have
access to power, absence of authority means the power will
be powerless. You need the authority.
That's what they call jurisdiction to use power.
Now we are going to look at the assignment of power to a
believer. But when you do not understand
the value of a thing, abuse is inevitable.
When you don't understand the value of power, people tend to
misuse it and abuse in this case is abnormal use.
OK, so the inability to understand the intent of God in
each occurrence or possibility can lead to the abuse of power.
I come again, the inability to understand the intent of God in
each occurrence or possibility or situation can lead to the
abuse of power. So the purpose of power is very
important and I'll just list out like one or two.
The one of the purposes or the assignments of power to a
believer is 1. According to the book of Matthew
chapter 6 verse 10, Scripture says your Kingdom come your will
be done on earth as it is in heaven.
So the assignment number one is to be a channel of God's will to
be done on earth. That is for His Kingdom to come.
The assignment of power is for God's Kingdom to come, and how
will it be possible is if that power becomes a channel of His
will to be done? Then #2 According to John
chapter 1, from verse 6 and 7, there was a man sent from God,
whose name is John. He came as a witness to testify
concerning that light, so that through him all might believe.
The second assignment of power to believer is to be a witness
of the light. So when the power has been
invested upon you, when you receive that power, when you are
aware of that power with the authority, it is for you to be a
witness. OK, like I said, this is just
one or two. There are many other more
important assignment, but that's not what I'm talking about
today. So listen to this.
When God speaks or when His Word goes forth, power follows.
So sometimes you might ask, where does power come from?
One of the ways one of the places come from is from God's
Word. So now dimensions of power, I
want to believe that this is exactly the one we're going to
speaking about today. So this is very important.
If you can recall, we asked the question last week, as power is
in different levels, do you think it changes its quality as
it increases or decreases? The only way only to find the
answer to this, I know maybe I've been thinking about it is
at this juncture. So please pay attention.
Number one the first dimension of power exusia.
So this is a positional power is attained by new birth at
salvation. So according to book of John
chapter one verse 12 but as many as received him to them give he
power to become the sons of God even to those who believe in his
name. Exusia is a function of position
in Christ. So the more the knowledge of
your position in Christ increases then you will increase
in exosia. That's degree of power.
It can also be called dedicated authority that is part
represents God. It is not work based less you
think maybe the more you heal people the more it increases.
No, it is revelation based. So the more you know that you
have received it from God, the more you receive that
revelation, then the more it increases.
And this degree of power, this dimension of power, exusia, it
ushers you into the next dimensional power called Ishqus.
OK, so let's go Ishqus. Now Ishqus is built by living
perpetually under the authority of Jesus, meaning if Christ
Jesus says go left, you go left. If he says speak to this person,
I appreciate the person. It's that's how it works.
That's how each coast cooperates.
That's how it was built. So the more you obey the
directives or the instructions of Jesus, that's how it
increases. So each coast is not
momentarily, it is continuous. It's not a one time thing.
It is not a sitting something, it is a lifetime something.
OK, let's look at it in book of Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10.
Finally be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Some people can't say if you want to impute each cause into
it can say finally be strong in the Lord and in his issue power,
right? So it's a mind, it's beautiful,
right? And over time.
So this dimension of power works on the inside of a man or of a
person, and it can be built up. So if the higher version of
another dimension of power called exusia, as you have just
seen. So when one works in God's
authority long enough, he becomes an embodiment of that
authority. That is after being invested in
it over a long time. Each cruise is built when you
work in God's authority, when it has invested upon you for a long
time, then you become the embodiment of that authority.
And that's what we call E schools.
That's why they might. That's why the long term
something OK and no one just obeys God one minute or one day
or a moment and build momentum. It doesn't work like that.
Then the next one, the next dimension of power is dunamis.
Dunamis is a function of engagement.
It's built by engagement according to book of Ephesians
chapter 3, verse 20. Now to him who is able to do
immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his
power that is at work within us now dunamis.
Dunamis is an ability to create change.
You produce result by engaging in the par with dunamis inside
of him and you engage this dunamis by prayer.
So I think zone is the illustration one time, you know,
when maybe maybe called to maybe minister, maybe a courage that
you're accessing, you maybe said to none a day before you just
pray for a long amount of time fast and maybe Nando is more
rehazard. When you now come, you show the
certain degree of power that's Dunamis.
It's can be generated, but after the administration after that,
it's not doesn't really stay with you.
It's you don't dwell there. OK, So the power found in
Dunamis is like a surge. It comes on the basis of
engagement. But if you but you don't live
there right, the one you live in, I'll tell you about it.
So in summary, it is the working power of God that produces
miracle. Maybe you want to pray for
someone that is sick. You pray for some time
generating the power, then you can't pray for the person.
The person get better, but maybe give it the next day you meet
someone that has that same illness that person had.
You be afraid to go and pray for the person because the power
that you that was present to heal that person, If you don't
have it anymore, you just generated it and did it, then
you need to regenerate it again. It's like the momentary
something. It's not something you need
second sword. Now the next part of the path
secondary to Geneva is Kratos. According to the book of Acts
chapter 10 verse 44. When Peter was still speaking
these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who had the message.
Now when you build, do not miss by praying true.
You build Kratos by praying continuously over a long period
of time. When you possess Kratos, there
is palpable Bank of energy in your spirit man.
It is generated for daily living.
Is stamina built over time? So in unlike Dunamis that is
generated for a moment, for an action, for something, Kratos is
like someone having a Bank of that.
Dunamis is like built in so you can see a kiss and without even
drinking much power at that moment, you can just heal the
person. Like you pray for the person and
personally see the person's healing.
Or you just present yourself this as a chorister.
You got to go and minister and you see this raw sort of power
that is built over time. That's like stamina that is
built OK for delivery. Now there are other forms of
power. Some people are asking, oh, I
didn't hear this one. I didn't hear that one.
Don't worry, I'm getting there. So there are other forms of
power, and there might be more, but like, I'm not really giving
that. This is the whole thing.
This is just an overview, right? We're just going step by step
each step of the way. Distance of Power is a long
series. OK, I won't say it's long, but
it's a series that just starting.
I'm very sure all this will make better sense and I really hope
we're able to practicalize it at the end of this episode or
midway this series, right? So let's go into it.
Other forms of power, other dimensions of power.
The first one is Energia or some people say Energio.
So this is power for everyday activity.
I like to call this the ability to do work.
You know, when in episode 1 when we're like saying power is the
ability to do work, some people say the ability to work.
So energy or NGO is that ability to do work.
If you recall in titles chapter 2 verse 11 Scripture that says
the grace of Lord has appeared unto all man.
That is the form of power that is present to all persons.
This form of power is given to all.
It is present in all that is. It is the dimension of God's
grace to mankind and idea next is OK OK is the influence that
makes things happen. According to Colossians chapter
2, verse 15 says. And having disarmed the power
and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them,
triumphing over them by the cross.
Colossians chapter one, verse 16.
For in him were all things created in the heavens and upon
the earth, things visible and things invincible, whether
Thrones or dominion or principalities or powers, all
things have been created through him and unto him.
So like unlike NGO, NGO is what they call the baseline Power
Bank. Like baseline, everyone is given
to everybody. This one I'm most able to know.
They have, like you, just the ability to do work, OK.
But now our key is a degree of influence a person has, like
someone in authority, someone like maybe a presidential
candidate or a leader. That is OK Influence people.
When at your presence, people wants to listen to you, OK.
When you appear, people want to listen to you.
When you say come, let's move, people want to follow you.
Is being able to influence people like influencers, you
know, Yes. So now the other form of power
is anacazo. Anacazo is something that
everybody already knows. You've heard this one way or the
other. Anacazo, the compelling force
that persuades people. It can also be said to be a
forceful power that overturns personal wills for the perfect
will of God to find expression in men and in circumstances.
According to the book of Luke chapter 14 verse 23.
Then the master told his servants, go out to the roads
and country lanes and compel them to come in so that my house
will be filled. If you recall the story, it was
a rich man that made a banquet for people, and the people he
invited prior to that time, on the day of the banquet, they all
gave excuses. So he had to now send out the
servants and say go and compel. And the word there is anacazo.
That's the word, let them come in.
And it's that part that overturns people's personal
will. Not for evil, right?
It's for the perfect will of God to find expression in men and in
circumstances. So when something looks like
it's not going the way God has directed his book to go, the
ability or the power that overturns it to the way God
wants it to go, it's what we call anacazo.
So that is it as usual, the ending question of the last
time, which is as far in different levels.
