0:09 Yes, and this is episode 3 of Deep Teens of Power. So we have finished episode 1-2 and now we're in three. Wow, we're really moving and I'm very glad you're still part of us. So enjoy the ride for this going to be a very wonderful series. So the topic today is ability within according to Ephesians chapter 3 verse 20. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. When you experience gross power within you, it will not be as you pictured it existing here from the Scripture exceeding abundantly exceeding here depicts more than over like superior to above.

1:04 So today we shall learn the modus operandi of power to be able to witness this exceeding dimension of God's power within us. Now second, Peter's chapter one verse 3, according to his divine power, had given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of him that had called us to glory and virtue. The power of God caters for all aspects of our life. The first aspect being the things that pertain on to godliness and the second the things that pertain on to life. So the things that pertain on to godliness, these are the things that matters to your overall mental health and spiritual life, like your knowledge of the world, your consecration, your spiritual health, spiritual progress, and your spiritual efficiency.

1:58 Now to the degree you excel in this category is the degree you will say whether you are godly or you're spiritual. So an example I'm going to cite in the Scripture is David according to second Samuel chapter 3, verse 36, it says and the people took notes and we are pleased. Indeed, everything the King did pleased them. Here King David was accused of being an accomplice to Drab's mother, but he disputed it by his lifestyle without even seeing much, just how he acted at the news of his mother. Now this is an aside, I don't believe that Christians, that's people with Christ like nature should be hated as though being nuisances in the society.

2:47 No, not in that sense. I feel if they should be disliked, it should be because of their love for God and His word. I mean look at Daniel for example. The people hated him because he had an excellent spirit in him. He was just too good to be avoided. They literally looked for a way to accuse him and set him up, but only way they could find him guilty was in his prayer life. So that's actually how a Christian and a believer should be. It should not be seen as people that are nuisances should be people that are those good and are hated for their goodness since sight.

3:27 Jesus our Lord and Savior whilst on earth he lived a very good life and people loved him. Well, not everybody but that hated him are people that didn't want to accept the truth for this state in darkness, their eyes were blinded, right. According to the book of Matthew, chapter 5 verse 16. In the same way, let your light shine before others that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Well, that's an aside where we are, we Oh yeah, pertains to life now pertains to life. These are things that should do present your life to be an effective and efficient person.

4:15 Things that can make your sojourn on earth effective like your daily bread, house, finances, welfare for your family and the likes. OK, so the power of God is so wholesome that it caters for things that are not so relevant in eternity. Sometimes, as also your education, the power of God can also be present there to help you through that phase. The economy of God's power is able to cater for all things that pertains on to life and that pertains on to godliness. So the believer in Christ cannot live a life of fullness of dominion without power.

4:56 The entire discourse of salvation in the Scripture is about power. As we already know, there are different dimensions of power as stated earlier episode. So you can easily identify each dimension through the scriptures. Listen, living, victory, dominion, excellence is the business of power. So you cannot be excellent, You cannot live an effective life. You can't possess victory or even dominate your environment on earth without power. I will also bring a new definition. Power can be the capacity to create a thing and sustain any process.

5:39 Now in the areas of 1's life impacted by power, this is the discourse of today according to First Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 23. And the very God of peace sanctify you holy, and I pray God, your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved, blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. OK so from this episode the three areas of your life affected by power is #1 the Spirit. We call this a God conscious nature. So it's really affected with power at salvation or the new birth. According to Second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17, Scripture says therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.

6:25 All things are passed away. Behold all things have become new. So this is the redemption of a person to not live for Christ no longer for themselves. So this is made present by the power of the spirit and the death of Christ. This is power present to grant the ability to understand spiritual truth or deep things. So the second aspect that's impacted by power is the soul, the self-conscious nature. All transformation or renewing of the mind is done by the power in the soul or artwork in the soul, a transformation or a dream of your mind.

7:14 This is where power is made present. According to Romans chapter 12 verse 2. Scripture says do not be conformed to the pattern of this word, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that you'll be able to test and approve what God's will is, His good, pleasing and perfect will. God's path transforms A believer's mind. According to Galatians chapter 5 verse 25, if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the spirit. Now finally, the third part, the body, spiritual and body, the world conscious nature.

7:59 Acts chapter 10 verse 38 how God anointed Jesus and Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with him. The first aspect that it covers is empowerment for service. So the physical body is utilized as an instrument to perform good works, minister to others and leave out one's faith in the community or in the world on your environment. The second aspect is divine healing from the scripture that says who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil.

8:45 God's power brings fiscal restoration, vitality, and healing from sickness and diseases. Now listen to this. Listen very carefully to an unsaved person or to an unbeliever. The greatest need of God's power is salvation. The greatest need of a believer or a saved person is transformation, and that is through the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the world. Then the greatest need of a transformed believer is empowerment, and that is the grace to defend the things we know. OK, so that's it for today.
