0:09 Yes, and this is episode 3 of Deep Teens of Power.

0:15 So we have finished episode 1-2 and now we're in three.

0:20 Wow, we're really moving and I'm very glad you're still part of

0:23 us. So enjoy the ride for this going

0:26 to be a very wonderful series. So the topic today is ability

0:32 within according to Ephesians chapter 3 verse 20.

0:37 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all

0:44 that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us.

0:50 When you experience gross power within you, it will not be as

0:54 you pictured it existing here from the Scripture exceeding

0:58 abundantly exceeding here depicts more than over like

1:03 superior to above. So today we shall learn the

1:07 modus operandi of power to be able to witness this exceeding

1:12 dimension of God's power within us.

1:15 Now second, Peter's chapter one verse 3, according to his divine

1:19 power, had given unto us all things that pertain unto life

1:23 and godliness through the knowledge of him that had called

1:27 us to glory and virtue. The power of God caters for all

1:32 aspects of our life. The first aspect being the

1:36 things that pertain on to godliness and the second the

1:39 things that pertain on to life. So the things that pertain on to

1:43 godliness, these are the things that matters to your overall

1:46 mental health and spiritual life, like your knowledge of the

1:50 world, your consecration, your spiritual health, spiritual

1:54 progress, and your spiritual efficiency.

1:58 Now to the degree you excel in this category is the degree you

2:02 will say whether you are godly or you're spiritual.

2:06 So an example I'm going to cite in the Scripture is David

2:10 according to second Samuel chapter 3, verse 36, it says and

2:15 the people took notes and we are pleased.

2:17 Indeed, everything the King did pleased them.

2:21 Here King David was accused of being an accomplice to Drab's

2:26 mother, but he disputed it by his lifestyle without even

2:31 seeing much, just how he acted at the news of his mother.

2:36 Now this is an aside, I don't believe that Christians, that's

2:41 people with Christ like nature should be hated as though being

2:45 nuisances in the society. No, not in that sense.

2:49 I feel if they should be disliked, it should be because

2:53 of their love for God and His word.

2:56 I mean look at Daniel for example.

2:59 The people hated him because he had an excellent spirit in him.

3:02 He was just too good to be avoided.

3:05 They literally looked for a way to accuse him and set him up,

3:10 but only way they could find him guilty was in his prayer life.

3:14 So that's actually how a Christian and a believer should

3:17 be. It should not be seen as people

3:20 that are nuisances should be people that are those good and

3:24 are hated for their goodness since sight.

3:27 Jesus our Lord and Savior whilst on earth he lived a very good

3:32 life and people loved him. Well, not everybody but that

3:35 hated him are people that didn't want to accept the truth for

3:39 this state in darkness, their eyes were blinded, right.

3:44 According to the book of Matthew, chapter 5 verse 16.

3:47 In the same way, let your light shine before others that they

3:51 may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

3:55 Well, that's an aside where we are, we Oh yeah, pertains to

4:03 life now pertains to life. These are things that should do

4:08 present your life to be an effective and efficient person.

4:15 Things that can make your sojourn on earth effective like

4:20 your daily bread, house, finances, welfare for your

4:24 family and the likes. OK, so the power of God is so

4:28 wholesome that it caters for things that are not so relevant

4:32 in eternity. Sometimes, as also your

4:36 education, the power of God can also be present there to help

4:39 you through that phase. The economy of God's power is

4:42 able to cater for all things that pertains on to life and

4:47 that pertains on to godliness. So the believer in Christ cannot

4:51 live a life of fullness of dominion without power.

4:56 The entire discourse of salvation in the Scripture is

4:59 about power. As we already know, there are

5:02 different dimensions of power as stated earlier episode.

5:06 So you can easily identify each dimension through the

5:09 scriptures. Listen, living, victory,

5:15 dominion, excellence is the business of power.

5:18 So you cannot be excellent, You cannot live an effective life.

5:23 You can't possess victory or even dominate your environment

5:26 on earth without power. I will also bring a new

5:31 definition. Power can be the capacity to

5:34 create a thing and sustain any process.

5:39 Now in the areas of 1's life impacted by power, this is the

5:43 discourse of today according to First Thessalonians chapter 5,

5:47 verse 23. And the very God of peace

5:50 sanctify you holy, and I pray God, your whole spirit and soul

5:56 and body be preserved, blameless unto the coming of our Lord

6:00 Jesus Christ. OK so from this episode the

6:03 three areas of your life affected by power is #1 the

6:07 Spirit. We call this a God conscious

6:10 nature. So it's really affected with

6:12 power at salvation or the new birth.

6:16 According to Second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17, Scripture

6:19 says therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.

6:25 All things are passed away. Behold all things have become

6:29 new. So this is the redemption of a

6:32 person to not live for Christ no longer for themselves.

6:36 So this is made present by the power of the spirit and the

6:39 death of Christ. This is power present to grant

6:45 the ability to understand spiritual truth or deep things.

6:50 So the second aspect that's impacted by power is the soul,

6:56 the self-conscious nature. All transformation or renewing

7:03 of the mind is done by the power in the soul or artwork in the

7:08 soul, a transformation or a dream of your mind.

7:14 This is where power is made present.

7:17 According to Romans chapter 12 verse 2.

7:20 Scripture says do not be conformed to the pattern of this

7:24 word, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that you'll

7:28 be able to test and approve what God's will is, His good,

7:33 pleasing and perfect will. God's path transforms A

7:38 believer's mind. According to Galatians chapter 5

7:42 verse 25, if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the

7:46 spirit. Now finally, the third part, the

7:52 body, spiritual and body, the world conscious nature.

7:59 Acts chapter 10 verse 38 how God anointed Jesus and Nazareth with

8:04 the Holy Ghost and with power who went about doing good and

8:08 healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with

8:13 him. The first aspect that it covers

8:18 is empowerment for service. So the physical body is utilized

8:23 as an instrument to perform good works, minister to others and

8:27 leave out one's faith in the community or in the world on

8:31 your environment. The second aspect is divine

8:35 healing from the scripture that says who went about doing good

8:40 and healing all that were oppressed of the devil.

8:45 God's power brings fiscal restoration, vitality, and

8:49 healing from sickness and diseases.

8:52 Now listen to this. Listen very carefully to an

8:57 unsaved person or to an unbeliever.

9:00 The greatest need of God's power is salvation.

9:05 The greatest need of a believer or a saved person is

9:09 transformation, and that is through the ministry of the Holy

9:13 Spirit and the world. Then the greatest need of a

9:16 transformed believer is empowerment, and that is the

9:21 grace to defend the things we know.

9:25 OK, so that's it for today. So by now we should be able to
