Hello everybody, welcome once again to Deep Things Audio.
And yes, this is episode 4 of Deep Things of Power.
Yes. And today we'll be looking at
something very important, gaining access.
So one of the ways to gain access to anything is to be at
the entrance of it. Be at the door, at the window,
at the gates. Don't enter into your house.
Stand at the gate, don't enter your room, stand at the door.
So today is episode 4 deep things of power.
So see you inside. I'm drinking.
According to Matthew, Chapter 7, verse 7, scripture says Acts, I
need to be given to you. Seek and you will find knock and
the door will be open to you. Jeremiah chapter 33 verse three,
call to me and I will answer you and take you great and
unsearchable things you do not know.
So from our initial anchor scripture, the book of Acts
chapter one verse 8 that says, but you will receive power when
the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my weaknesses in
Jerusalem and in Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the
earth. Also in John chapter 16 verse 13
it says, but when he the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide
you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own.
He will speak only what he hears and he will tell you what is yet
to come. So the Holy Spirit gives power
to as many as are ready to receive.
He also guides you into the truth into power for the entire
concept of power cannot be isolated from the Holy Spirit.
So the scripture speaks on the Holy Ghost bringing tsunamis for
us. The word received there is the
word lambano to lihood. So that brings us to our first
access points. One receive him receiving God
according to John chapter one verse 12.
Scripture says yet to all who did receive him, to those who
believed in his name, He gave the right to become children of
God. So you cannot assess the power
of him you have not received and do not know.
The primary way to assess power is through receiving the Lord
Jesus Christ. Note, you can gain access to his
power when you receive him, but not necessarily the experience
that comes with receiving the power.
I come again, you gain access to his power where you receive him,
not necessarily the experience that comes with receiving the
power. So it is not today's episode, so
just stay tuned. Very, very truly.
We are going to speak about this intently in that episode, but
this series, OK, so this is the least level.
Assessing his power. That's the receiving him is the
least level, but it's a very important part.
I mean, you can't access the power of the one you don't know.
According to Psalm 62, verse 11, one thing God has spoken, two
things I have heard power belongs to you, God.
Another version says God has spoken once, twice.
Have I heard that power belongeth to God, So you must
connect to the source of all power and know him too.
Any kind of spiritual power belongs to God.
Satan just manipulates the power that is present and misuses it
for his benefit. He doesn't create any new power.
So God is not threatened by the power of the enemy.
He owns it all. So whenever people are like, oh,
that God is fighting Devil, I don't know how that sounds
because what power does devil have is God that still owns that
power, right? So even the one that happened in
heaven, it was Devil and his angels and the angels only.
I don't God was not really fighting that.
But God can't be fighting. It's not in the same class with
him. He can't do with a Snuffle's
finger make any power he has to go not church Kelly snap of his
finger, but something aligned with that.
So God owns all the power. So from my eyes, what about
native doctors and every other person that has power?
God is just manipulated power, the power that is presently
manipulated for their own good, not necessarily that they are
generating any new power. No, God owns all the power that
from the good and from the evil, God owns it all.
OK, Then the second access point is understanding the various
kinds and expressions of spiritual power alongside a
working knowledge on how they operate.
So this is an area that is mostly missing everyone's
pursuit of power. So nobody really pays attention
to the knowledge of the power or the kinds of expression of the
powers that they are. Many people just, oh, power,
they just want power. No, it doesn't work like that.
According to Job chapter 38 verse 33, it says do you know
the laws of the heavens? Can you set up 'cause dominion
over the earth? So this level of access is
hidden in laws and principles, both spiritual laws and physical
laws. So laws like if you farm on a
fertile and it will yield or saving a certain percentage or
investing will invite riches to you in due time.
So understanding of these various kinds and expression of
power has already been covered in episode 2.
But we will go in deadly into every aspect of this access
point throughout this series. This is just a highlight of I
quote an outline. We are not going to in depth
into it commonly, but throughout this episode, by the time we are
done with this series, you'll be able to understand every single
thing that I said now. OK so make sure you miss no
episode. So the third access point is
covenant alignment with resources or men that have
gained access to the power. Proverbs chapter 13 verse 20.
Work with the wise and become wise for a companion of fools
suffer harm. Genesis chapter 12, verse 4A.
So Abraham went as the Lord had told him, and Lord went with
him. So I believe this is the widely
or the most widely used story when speaking on association,
the story of Abraham and Lot. So an illustration was painted
of power to a such that a man went for a powerful program and
generated prayer doing it. He returned home late at night
and slept off. His roommate noticed that he
must have contacted Power and he also wanted a part of it being a
Christian. OK.
So he hurriedly went, prepared hot water for his bed and cooked
food for the man. So by the time the man I rose
from his sleep the next day, he was greeted with the water that
was ready and food. So he really understand what
happened, but that his friend has contacted power drove by
aligning, honoring and helping the conduit of the power.
That's that man. I mean, he was so pleased when
he saw that food. Wouldn't you be pleased after a
long and stressful day? You just see food and water,
nothing attached. You'll be happy even feel so
grateful even that gratitude. It's how that power can also be
contacted by that person that did that for you.
So this is a way to actually that you can contact power from
someone without even trending for so many lay down rules to
make it happen. Just no.
Also second Samuel Chapter 9 verse one David asked is there
anyone still lives in the House of Seoul to whom I can show
kindness for Jonathan's sake. Jonathan's lineage may enjoy
some privileges or faithful not because they laboured for it,
but just because someone is deciding to show them favour.
OK, so you record the story of when David and Jonathan are very
good friends. So maybe someone from the
lineage of Jonathan may be looking like a person have
received all the power of favour or money or influence.
It's not necessarily because they worked hard for it.
No, it's because someone decided to show them fever or show them
help. So that's why most times it's
not really a good idea to use the presence of gifts or signs
and wonder in a person's life to measure their degree of maturity
in the Kingdom. Instead, they use their
transformation because most times these gifts they receive
or this ability to perform science and wonder miracles
under God, genuine, right? It might have been received by
this method of aligning yourself through honor, through helping
someone or just deciding to fall in alignment with the person
that had a conduit and you receive it.
That should not be a true form of assessing spiritual growth,
right? OK #4 intimacy with God.
So you know, I want to say that one was the lowest or not the
lowest least. It's like a pyramid step wise
process where that one is the least step.
Receiving him is the least. Now the highest level of
assessing power is intimacy with God.
So this access points are not really averaged in order of
importance, but anyone that is so important or not so important
or just anywhere, any special classification, I will list it
out. But asides that, there's no one
that is more important than the other.
So apart from the ones that were listed.
So intimacy with God, this is the highest level of assessing
God's power. When you work with God, He
demands a relationship with you, and the power you get is derived
from that relationship, according to Philippians chapter
3, verse 10. And it says that I may know Him,
and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship
of His suffers being made conformable unto His death, that
He first told him, then His power.
So this level of access is God centered.
You do it because of love for God, not what you hope to gain
from it. A continuation of that aspect is
what I love to call an outbased subtype is desire.
So for you to assess this type of power, there must be an
increased degree of desire for it.
Still part of intimacy with God is the passion for the presence
of God according to Acts chapter 10 verse 38 how God anointed
Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power who went
about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil, for God was with him and Jesus went about doing good him.
All these are the attributes of someone who have stayed long in
his presence and wants to manifest cause presence in his
world. There's something that happens
when you dwell in God's presence.
Some people say the secret of divine power is waiting and I
agree with that. That's why not everyone has
power because his presence is not like Indomi. 5 to 25 minutes
and you're good. No, you don't pray with time if
you want power. No you don't.
You stay until your spirit is charged.
This thing is an intentional act.
It's not a coincidence of finding like a patient that
presents to the clinic due to generalized body weakness and
weight loss. Once discovered that her random

Well, that's an aside. So from our initial introduction
to dimensions of power, you cannot assess any of them
without desire for codes presence.
I'm generalizing it now. All of them requires God's
present, but this requires steep in God's presence.
According to Jeremiah chapter 29, verse 13, it says you will
seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
And I feel this covers the entire concept of intimacy with
God as an access point to power. OK, then the last but not the
least #5 the 5th access point, gaining access through the
scriptures. OK, I mean, there's no way to
speak about access points and not add the scriptures.
We just finished the tense of His Word.
Of course we'll add the scriptures.
You can access a degree of power through the illumination of
light that comes through God's Word as of the apostles chapter
20, verse 32. And it says, now I commit you to
God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up
and give you an inheritance among all who are sanctified.
Now when you embrace the Word of God, you will receive the power
for the inheritance according to Psalm 119, verse 130.
And it says the unfolding of your words give light.
It gives understanding to this temple according to Second Peter
chapter 3 verse 18. And he says both grow in the
grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To him be the glory both now and forever.
Amen. Growth in grace comes through
knowledge advancement in assessing the scriptures and
power both come from the amount of light to possess.
So the more light to possess, the more there'll be advancement
in assessing the Scripture and thereby more power.
So take note, you need to obtain grace to acquire higher
spiritual illumination, so that when you do acquire more light,
more power will be able to be accessed by you.
Proverbs chapter 3, verse 35. The wise inherit honour, but
fools only get shame. The wise will only inherit
honour, and in this case power. The wisdom from the Word, the
integrity of God's Word is your access point to power.
