So jumping right into it, you know, we have been looking at God's word and the potency of God's Word, how to receive God's Word, the power in God's Word and the likes. I won't say everything here. Go and listen to it again. It's out there. Now we are looking at something very important, a very important topic. Enemies of his word. I can say enemy of his word. Anyone that you know, our guest speaker was disturbed talking about guest speaker.

So Ujay, please can you tell us who are the enemies? What are the enemies? What does this have to do with anything? What can hinder wants progress in his world?

2:09 And how does that turn out to be an enemy who's one enemy? So thank you, Sir. Thank you so much and I pray in the name of Jesus that your eyes are opened, that the Lord will enlighten your heart even as you listen to these words, that it will become spiritual life to you in Jesus name, Amen. Looked at it and verse 11, you know, when we talk about an enemy, it's something that's sabotages progress. Anything that hinders progress is an enemy to something. So whatever hinders your progress on the progress of the Word of God in your life, the transformative work of the Word of God in your life, whatever hinders it is an enemy of the Word of God in your life.

2:55 So I couldn't think about a better way to put it down, what the Lord Jesus illustrated in Luke chapter 8, which is the parable of the soul. So there we see the heart of man. So the heart is a very powerful enemy of the world because the word is received in the heart and it's dead that it bears fruit. The heart, you know, Bible says God your heart, for out of it flows the issues of life. So imagine when your heart is saturated with the word of God, beautiful streams, the things that will be coming out of your mouth.

3:32 The result that will come out of your life will be a product of the saturation of the word of God in your heart. And likewise, when your heart is corrupt, you will see that the things that are coming out of your life will be anti the word of God. So the heart look chapter 8 verse 11. It is now the probably this the seed is the word of God. The stop said those by the wayside are the that here then commend the devil and take it away the word out of their heart, lest they should believed and be saved.

4:07 So the devil the the word is planted on their hearts by the wayside. The thing is just by the way of their heart. So the devil comes, you know, steals that word from their hearts and you find out that this thing I believe, I don't believe it again. You find yourself doubting, you find yourself doubting God. You know, it just fell by the way of your heart. So you are reading the word. It just is a busy Monday morning. So you're trying to make it up to you're trying to make it early to walk and then you just rush some pages.

4:49 The Lord is my my scavenger. I shall not scabage, just take it as if it's a capsule and then of your heart to walk. It fell on your on the path of your heart. And then it's prone to Steelers, it's prone to thieves. The word of God must take roots in your heart. It must take deep roots in your heart for it to be a fruit. You know, it must go deep in your heart for it to be a fruit. All right so the second kind of heart we see is that the word of God falls on the rock. Is it the rocky heart the word of God falls them.

5:27 Those are the kinds of people that when they hear receive the word with joy, but it has no roots which for a while they believe and in time of temptation they just fall away. So they are in church and pastor is delivering a powerful world preach preacher jumping of their seat with energy and joy and you know all the enthusiasm in the world Bible says and verse stating that they receive it with joy and they believe just for a while. And then when temptation comes and shakes them, they find out that the thing that they believed it didn't take root in their hearts.

6:07 It didn't have roots in their hearts, didn't go deep. So when you receive the word, let it enter deep in your heart. Let it know just something you jump over. Oh, I shall not die, you are those jumping, or I shall not die. As it take no roots, it takes root by meditation carried out would sit on it, meditate on it, meditate on it, meditate on it day and night. Where was it then? And only day will your way be prosperous. Meditate on it. When you meditate on the world, it takes deep roots in your heart.

6:43 The third kind of people is the thorny heart. These are the people that they which when they have heard best 14 go forth and are choked with cares and riches and the pleasures of this life and bring forth no fruits to perfection. They are choked with the pleasures of this life. They are choked with the pressures of this life. They are choked with the cares. So when they just received the word, lot of things just bulk their hearts. The seed of the world does not have chance to grow. You know, they have a lot of troubles within their hearts and they don't give space for the word of God to come.

7:21 There's a song I love so much. It came out when I was very much younger. I'm treating my sorrows. I'm treating my fears. I'm laying them the for the joy of the Lord. When you enter into the presence of God, you must learn to take away every other thing and focus on Him, David said. I will look to the hills from where some help come from. My help comes from the Lord, the make of heaven and the earth, through everybody, through everything that bothers you, because those things can choke up the world.

7:58 Somebody can be preaching in church and then the person is looking at the preacher like this, but the person is not hearing anything. He's thinking about rent, he's thinking about the exam. He's thinking about every kind of trouble in his life. You can't receive the Word that way. That's a funny heart. Then you have a good heart that's 50 having heard the Word, Keep it and bring it forth. Fruit with patience with patience. A lot of people rush the manifestation of God's Word with patience. So apart from the heart, I'm going to be talking about another thing, faith.

8:33 Hebrews chapter 4. In Hebrews chapter 4 and verse 2, he said, For unto us was the gospel preached as well as unto them, but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that had it. So two people may receive the word of God. One person just receives it casually, the other person received it with faith is when the world is mixed with faith. That's when he can profit you, that's when he can bear fruit. So when you receive the word of God, believe it, believe it, believe it.

9:15 I'm the head and not the table. Do you believe it? I'm above and not believe it. Do you believe it when you hear the Bible says they are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and Satan woos you with all kinds of temptations, Do you believe you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus? Faith, faith, faith. When Bible says that a cattle in 1000 hills belong to the Lord and the Lord is your Father, God is your Father, do you believe it? That this blessing shall come upon you and he shall overtake you, Do you believe it?

9:51 Do you believe what the Word says? Or do you just read it over the page of your Bible and just take it like that? Do you believe it? Do you believe it? 1000 shall fall by my sight. 10,000 None of them shall come near me.

10:09 I'll just behold the reward of the wicked and Beulah, and have Ziba the delights on land of the Lord, and planted in the House of the Lord. You see some, sometimes we, we wake up with all kinds of troubles in our hearts. You know, you wake up with a dream and you see that maybe one of your parents died in the dream. What did the word of God say? They that are planted in the House of the Lord shall flourish in the court of our God. Even in old age they will be fat and flourishing, more skinny and dying, fat and flourishing.

10:45 Yes, Sir, I believe it. I will not die. I will live. I will declare the works of the Lord in the land of the living.

10:55 I believe it have an excellent spirit. So the word of God will not profit you if you're not mixing it with faith. You must believe the word of God. You must believe it. You must believe it. You must believe the Word. Believe the Word When God says that you are above and not beneath beneath. Believe it. When God says you are his delights on land, believe it.

11:20 Believe that you are healed, That's faith. Place faith on the world and that's how you get profit from it. So these are just two parts that we can see you. These are the enemies of the world, the cares of this world, the devil that picks. And then the fact that the world does not take roots in you. It just drops on the rocky ground. It does not take roots so that temptations just come to carry it away. And then faith, lack of faith, when you hear the word of God, believe it, believe it. So these are enemies that try to stifle the work of the world in the life of the believer.

12:03 Thank you so much. I really appreciate this word you've spoken. Thank you, Sir. I actually have the question. So now in line with the first enemy category, the heart of man, where you spoke about the Stony heart and so on, that it sees the world with joy, but yet there's no evidence of it in his life because we have this Stony heart that never actually bared roots. The world never bared roots so a question is so how do you approach people that Gods word doesn't take root in their heart? Some of those kinds of people are people that have been in church for long, so they just hear the Word and they are excited and the world, but then they don't really ponder to absorb that which God is bringing to them by virtue of that word.

12:53 Meet the person. And because the Word of God will not be producing fruits in that person's life. If the person does not receive the Word of God, if he does not sink deep into his heart when the Word of God comes, receive with meekness. It is received the engrafted word with meekness. Receive the Word with meekness. You should receive the Word with joy, of course, but that joy should come by revelation. That joy should come when you have a revealed knowledge of that Word. The Word has now come, and then by the Spirit you're able to decode what the Holy Spirit is seeing in by virtue of that word.

13:29 And not just jumping off when you hate. No, you don't just jump off when you hate. No, sit down and let the Holy Spirit reveal to you what that Word is for. And when you have caught that revelation, receive it with joy and move.

13:47 Thank you so much. So like now someone like that, that is in that situation, how do you, what do you do for the person? It's just to teach the person and guide the person on how to receive the Word of God because the Word of God is possible to not be received. We have seen it in Scripture. It's possible your reaction to the Word of God. It should not just be something you jump off or when you receive with special enthusiasm. OK. It's something you sit with, catch a revelation by the Holy Spirit, and then move with the Word.
