1:17 Ephesians chapter 6 and verse 16 and it says in addition to all

1:25 this, take up the shield of faith with which you can't

1:29 extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil. 1710 take

1:35 the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is

1:39 the word of God. So we are still looking at

1:42 giftings of God's Word. Now when we talk about standing

1:46 on the Word of God, the shield of faith or the sword of the

1:49 spirit, an item, what comes to mind?

1:53 How best can you stand? Is he with the sword of the

1:56 Spirit or the shield of faith, standing in the.

2:23 on the Word of God. And the Scripture points out how

2:28 exactly we can stand and the Word of God.

2:31 And understanding that the journey of the Pilgrim is one

2:36 that is filled with so much battles, and the battle is not

2:41 to kill you, is not entirely to make you poor.

2:45 The battle is to make you change your stand because as a

2:48 believer, your stand is on the Word of God.

2:51 So standing on the Word of God is an active process.

2:55 It is not somewhere you get to position and you can give your

2:59 life to Christ positionally. So you can see someone that's a

3:03 believer, but still yet not understanding the person can

3:06 believing in a lot of things. So he does not deny the person's

3:10 salvation that the person have given his life to Christ.

3:12 But then when we speak about standing on the word of God is

3:16 an active process. So being not being in the world

3:19 full of battles full of many things.

3:22 The intention of the enemy is to push you away from that stand.

3:26 And that's why when you begin to read the book of Ephesians like

3:29 6 and 16 and 17, you will see that the Bible is telling us how

3:34 we can stand by fighting the oppositions trying to take us

3:39 away from our stand. So that's what I am

3:41 understanding from that. Thank you so much that that was

3:50 when people are like the study got word, people is this word

3:55 that you can get got instructions for for you through

3:59 his word. So how can one separate the word

4:04 that they see all the verses of the Scripture and now be able to

5:24 Because I started thinking of it.

5:25 No, the Holy Spirit will always give us elimination through this

5:28 world. So as I was thinking of that, I

5:30 would say so is it that God was speaking to this 70 because if

5:33 you want to read the Bible, read it with an open heart.

5:37 That's the only way you can learn.

5:38 So don't force yourself that Oh, I'm the person, but you can see

5:41 that God is stopping to the 70 So I began to look at that.

5:44 I began to ask God, what do you mean?

5:46 Immediately the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart.

6:32 and the son of Abraham was paying tithe with Abraham to

6:35 make his a deck. So this son was not around, but

6:39 because of the actions of Abraham, he could partake of it.

6:42 That means his son can partake of the blessings also.

6:45 So what Many times what God said to one man, you have said it to

6:48 all. If God is blessing your

6:50 neighbor, he's also saying it to you.

6:52 So most of the time what we have need to do is to position our

6:56 hearts to receive that statement.

6:59 And that's that's that's instruction that blessing from

7:03 the Lord and one of the ways to do it is by meditating on the

7:07 word of God. When you read the book of Joshua

7:09 chapter one verse, he said this book of the law, you shall

7:13 meditate on it day and night. God knowing that the only way

7:17 you can obey this law, the only way this law even do an

7:20 instruction can make sense. The only way it can be for you

7:24 because the instruction was for Moses.

7:26 Hope you know it was Moses the instruction was given to so

7:29 somebody could say, oh, it's not for me because I was right

7:32 there. But the way you can tap into the

7:35 energy to be able the ability to do the instruction is by

7:39 meditating on it. So one of the ways is when you

7:41 find a scripture that speaks directly to your situation,

7:45 begin to meditate on it. And also at what the apostle

7:48 added, they said they continued in the ministry of the world and

7:53 prayer. So that's it.

7:55 So if you can meditate on the Word of God and begin to pray it

7:59 and speak it into your life, then you are eligible for being

8:03 a participant of the promises in that scripture.

8:15 and before I could even finish writing down the equation, I

8:21 I was like, see so how? Imagine you don't hear a word

8:24 from God. I went through a trying

8:25 situation. How can you actually get a word?

8:28 And I say just find one and make it on.

8:30 It I I heard a story of a a woman.

8:34 I think this was one of Bishop Oyed, the person, he was telling

8:39 the story of a woman that the leg was to be amputated,

8:43 amputated or something like that.

8:45 So the woman started looking for scriptures and she found the

8:50 scripture. I think the scripture is in

8:51 Psalms that said that the Lord did not let my feet to be cut

8:54 off. In fact, the literal meaning, it

8:56 doesn't really mean that God will not let your feet to

8:58 because of. I think what it means is that

9:00 God did not allow your journey to be stopped.

9:02 I think that's what it means. But the lady picked it and

9:06 decided to believe it that way and began to pray on it,

9:09 believing that word. The case.

9:11 The scenario changed, diabetes gone diabetic, food toss has

9:16 started healing and everything got better.

9:18 I don't know if it's other healing, but the point is that

9:20 diabetes went away and you know what it means.

9:22 So the whole point is that the Word of God, you can pick it and

9:27 no matter where it is in the scripture, you can begin to

9:29 speak it. It can take one year and take

9:31 two years. It can take 3 weeks.

9:33 But The thing is that it works. Wow, thank you so much.

9:38 You know, that was the standard first question I actually had.

9:41 I wanted to ask you some. Points now.

9:43 How do you unlock this books, this scripture, this word so it

9:48 can become a promise for you? We're not.

9:50 It's like actually don't go and pick.

9:52 And those such real needs made it.

9:57 book of very powerful people. That's so deep.

10:08 The final word I have is based on what the Bible is saying in

10:11 Ephesianship assists verse 17, he said in addition to all

10:16 these, that means all that things you are in place.

10:18 You want to see it say hold up the shield of faith to stop the

10:23 fiery arrows of the devil. Even that shield of faith, faith

10:27 as a substance. The Bible says faith commits by

10:31 hearing and hearing by the word of God.

10:33 So even for your faith, for you to be able to defend your hand

10:36 on the word of God, you need the word of God.

10:39 I don't know how to explain it. It's just like a just imagine

11:27 He said the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, the

11:29 Bible. The answer speak in the book of

11:31 John 63. The answer say the word I speak

11:34 to you are spirits and life. So if you want to say the the

11:38 sort of the spirit is a component of the spirit is that

11:41 that same thing is even the word of the Lord.

11:44 So the word of the Lord is in its entirety is what we need to

11:48 stand on the word of the Lord. So it's as simple as that.

12:09 When you think it's possible for someone that stays long enough

12:14 in the word of God to to make a wrong decision or to maybe be

12:18 found, it always don't. Maybe do something that does not

12:22 like the person that's meant to stay with all of God's meant to

12:25 do or just act out of the word of God.

12:28 We turn away someone that barely reads the word of God.

12:32 Can a person ever make any mistake like that?

12:35 Looks like someone that doesn't need a lot of God does.

12:38 OK now understanding that we are human God, even Adam could make

12:45 a mistake even though he missed God every cool of the day.

12:48 Are you getting me? And that mistake is why we are

12:50 here this podcast. If not for that mistake, I for

12:53 don't they eat with gorilla? We'll be eating mango or

12:56 something. But the point is that the Bible

13:00 says, I think book of Psalms, that thy word is a lamp unto my

13:05 feet and the light unto my part. What the word of the Lord does

13:08 is that it doesn't compel you to take decision.

13:10 It's such as a guiding light. So The thing is that yes,

13:16 there's a place for growth as you are still growing.

13:18 You can make mistakes, but when you are consistently reading,

13:23 abiding in Him through His Word, you, you will always see, you

13:31 will always, you will not take the decisions out of blindness

13:34 decision. You take it with your clear eye.

13:36 So if you're making mistake, it's with your clear eye.

13:38 That's the same way you tell somebody take Christ and the

13:40 person with his clear eye deserves to take it once.

13:43 So what the word of the Lord provides for us is a guiding

13:46 light. So if you want to take his way,

13:50 you can, but if he choose not, you'll fall into errors.

13:53 So it is, let me, I don't want to use the word, almost

13:57 impossible. If you decide to follow, the

14:00 word will always provide lights and it's now your choice to

14:04 either follow the lights or follow the other way.

14:08 So God presents life and death to us and encourages us to speak

14:11 life. This is God himself.

14:13 So it still doesn't force it. So that's what the word of the

14:16 Lord does. It provides illumination for us

14:19 to take our decision. Thank.
