How To Encounter the Backed-up Word

0:01 Hello everybody, Welcome once again to Titans Audio. Yes, and this is episode 13 of Titans of His Word. OK, so it's like a sequel to the last episode. Last episode we learned about what facts of God's word and I recall saying that we will have a continuation of it. So guess what? Today we have a very interesting topic which is how to encounter this backed up world. So we had we were having a very interesting, deep and precise conversation with Mohammed Nasir Gali. So today he's going to continue.

0:49 So in a very short moment, he's going to introduce himself and then we'll get into it. All right. So Mohammed Nasir Gandhi, first say your name and then tell us how, what are the requirements to receive this backed up word? Tell us everything you want. Tell us about receiving and encountering this backed up word. Thank you so much. OK, my name is Mohammed Nasir Gandhi. So what will someone do? Requirements we must have in engaging with this backed off world. The first one is spiritual understanding.

1:28 Now my peoples, my people perish for lack of knowledge. You know, we need a deep spiritual understanding of who God is, the sovereignty of his power, you know, and the power of his word in person, you know, before we'll be able to, you know, have access to this backup world. The next thing is faith. Faith is with Bible said without faith it is impossible to please God, for everyone that comes to me must believe that I exist and that I'm a rewarder. So God is requiring faith for us to be able to touch this backup world.

2:04 We must be able to come with faith. The next one is hunger and desire for an awakening spirit. 5A Sincere heart 6 good attitude for the world. You know, I said this good attitude is, is is very, very, very, very important. Because I believe a lot of times when we hear that we have lost the trust for Gus Ward, you know, we have found alternatives for Gus Ward. And is, is just the deception of the enemy that has been brought to us. What's the thing that the enemy did to us was just to deceive us and make us feel like we can be independent of God and his word.

2:44 And so our attitude to the to the word of God, when we look at it, how much do we treasure it? How much do we seek it? And so the Bible said the Kingdom of heaven is like, is like a man that found a treasure, you know, in the land and went and sold all he had and came and bought Thailand. That is the attitude that God wants us to have with the world. And then commitments to obey, to obey the world at all costs. You know, some of us have preconceived mindset about the world already have alternatives for the world.

3:19 OK, you are sick now. And you know one of the things that you believe about the world is the power to heal. And the first thing, the first we know, we are praying. We are praying and we are like if this world, if this healing does not come, I will go and see a doctor. So our commitment, our heart is a major problem. We are not committed to do. Now that doesn't cancel out going to see a doctor. And I'm not trying to place a doctrine here, but I'm trying to point out, you know, our commitments to do.

3:49 We have already provided alternatives to the word of God. If the word of God does not work, I'm going to try another thing else and that's why the word of God seemed to have lost its efficacy or not. How do we engage with the backup word? So first I will read them Ezra Chapter 7, verse 10. For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord and to do it and to teach status and ordinances in Israel. And Joshua chapter one verse 8 says the book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate or needs day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.

4:26 For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success. So what are some of the key things engaging the backed up world? How does it produce effect and result in our lives? One is through through the study of the world. So we need to read the world. We need to study it. And there's a difference between reading and study. We need to really engage with the word of God. The Bible said Israel prepared in his heart to seek. Seeking is not, you know how we read the word of God, You know, just read it nonchalantly.

5:00 The Bible say he sought to seek the law of the Lord. Then Deuteronomy 1718 to 19 said and it shall be when he seated upon the throne of his Kingdom and he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priest and delivered and he shall be with him and he shall read there in all the days. See, God has God has already sentenced us to a life long reading and seeking the word of God. And it's only when we you know, have this mindset of really seeking the word of God that it will begin to produce results in our lives.

5:41 The second one is meditating on the word and praying with the word. Meditation is it it helps us to stay with the word. Most of the reasons most of the times why the word of God does not produce results in our lives is because we have not stayed with it long enough to produce results. You know, it has not gathered. Let me use this doesn't gather that momentum. The more you stay with the word of God, the more you know, you begin to gather energy and when it reaches A threshold it begins to produce results, you know, so we have not yet stayed with the world for a longer time for it to produce results.

6:20 The Bible said, well, his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in that law he meditates only day and night. And so as long as he has not found a way of meditating on the law of the Lord, it can never be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. And that those fruits that we are thinking about will not. You know, as you meditate on the word of the Lord, it travels from your mouth to your heart and from your heart to your spirit. And when your spirit has access to the world and the spirit of the world, it produces results.

6:52 Then let the words, let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and Redeemer, that is showing us the power of meditation. You know what is acceptable to God is His Word. Do you understand? I say He regard His word more than His name. So whatsoever you think about first the Word, then the next point, how do we engage with the backed up word is doing the word obedience. Jesus, the mother of Jesus told his disciples in John chapter 2 verse five.

7:26 He said his mother said to the servant, whatever he says to you, do it. One of the reasons why we have not encountered the power of God's word is because we have refused to take a step. The moment you take a step, changes begin to happen. The moment we take steps, changes will begin to happen. And another place that we can see the power is in looked after 5 verse four and verse 6 when he had stopped speaking, he said to Simon launch out into the deep and let down your net for a catch. Now pay attention that Simon his brothers have have stayed on the sea throughout the night the way experienced fishermen and they have invested time and energy and they have tried all alternatives to see that they get fish.

8:13 But when Jesus came here, he's trying to reveal a lot about himself that I am, I am king, I'm the owner of the fishes in the sea. And so when we understand this with the word of God, we'll be ready to obey it. The Bible said, and when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish and their net was breaking. And so when we begin to obey the word of God, we'll begin to experience the hard flow of its power. Then Matthew 1429 says, so he said, come. And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water.

8:48 Go to Jesus. You see, I feel if you have not learnt anything from this discussion we have discussed is the fact that obedience, obedience matters so much when dealing with the world. And so we are going to really ask God to work on our hearts because at the end of it is still pointing to one thing that it is the heart problem. It is not the world problem. The world has power, the world has all the possible backings, the reputation of God, His name, and every integrity of God. But the problem is the heart.

9:24 So most believers know the world but have not been able to experience it power because they have not taken the step of obedience. It is as we all be. But I will say, these signs shall follow thee as they preach the world. These signs shall follow thee. That belief. The signs will never come unless they take the step of taking the gospel to other people. And as they preach the world, the signs will begin to obedience. So obedience requires faith and shows that we trust the world and that we have confidence in the world.

9:55 So these are these are some of the ways to engage the backed up world. Another way is in teaching the world. And they went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord working with them and confirming the words through the accompanying signs, through preaching the world. I never knew that I could heal somebody until I began to preach the world through Thanksgiving, sacrifice, or praise. Another way of activating a backed up word. And Jesus took the loafs and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples and the disciples to those sitting down and likewise love the fish as much as they wanted.

10:36 Thanksgiving unlocked the power of God's word. Sometimes we are, we are, we are full of grumbling. See, our heart is still pointing out, pointing back to this heart issue. And I really want us to really beg God because a lot of times when we are praying and things have not happened, begin to thank God. Just begin to thank God and you see the power that will come out of it. So why the backed up what seemed to have lost its power in Christians is basically the nature of the heart. I'll give you an assignment to do you can go and read the book of Matthew chapter 13, the parable of the soul and its interpretation and showed this showed us many sides of why the world has lost its power.

11:19 The first one on the wayside is you know, they lacked understanding and so the devil could could easily steal it away. The second one is that it was a rocky heart. This rocky had signifies hard hardness, lack of depth. So we already have conceived mindset and we have already decided what to do. We are just coming to the world to fulfill our righteousness. We have, we have not been able to, you know, meditate and sit with the world. Once the world comes, it flies away because we cannot be able to guard it diligently as the Bible has asked us to do.

11:55 Another way is that we have developed alternatives for the Word of God. So if the Word of God does not produce results, I will go into this. You know, poor revelation of God and his Word is also another reason. And then mechanically engaging the Word. It is only the Spirit. Jesus said something concerning the Word. He said flesh profited not in the words that I speak to you. They are spirits and they are life. I bought most of the time we're engaging with the Word mechanically, and that's why the Word of God seemed to have lost its efficacy on us.

12:31 And so today I want us to go back and really beg God for our hearts that the Lord will, you know, work on our hearts, that the Lord will break every preconceived mindset and motives towards the Word of God. That's just like the three Hebrew boys. We will be able to see if I perish, if I die, whether God does not save me. I still believe in the power of His word and take that step of obedience. Like Esther, if I perish, I perish. If I die, I die. It is the word of God that I'm holding on to and we are going to, you know, see results in our lives as a result of obedience.

So now you know how to encounter God's word and everything he said, you know actually had the question on his axe, but you answered it. You actually answered it. I wanted to ask if God was actually efficacious. When you say if you lay hands on the on the sick, they will see their healing. How come people so don't really see that, but they now say it's because of the heart. You answered every single text.
