0:37 that Next time we'll be meeting, we'll be starting a new series.

0:41 Wisdom was beautiful and it ended well, right?

0:46 And there was so many testimonies from how wisdom went

0:50 and how it impacted lives. But it's.

0:55 Time we had to draw the curtain for wisdom, and now we have

0:59 opened the curtain for a. New series.

1:04 So I asked. A lot of our members and our

1:07 people, when the series came to guess what it was, so I got a

1:12 lot of responses. Someone said it to be deep tears

1:16 of love or unlike other episodes this is our eighth series ever

1:23 since didn't started. Yes.

1:26 So unlike every other series, we never really got this much, you

1:33 know, good response. Every response was not really so

1:39 in line with how we give our series, but this one was the

1:43 tribe. So someone said deepness of law.

1:49 Someone said deepness of power. I mean, I will.

1:54 I taught those details of peace. Yeah.

1:57 So they said so many things, distance of prayer, you know,

2:31 And we're very excited for what God is said to do with this new

2:35 series in this time and season. OK, so a little.

2:46 is either a glimpse of what's happening in the season or what

3:03 series your rapt attention but not have been so consistent with

3:10 rapt attention. OK, so let's get down to it.

3:16 Our anchor scripture is taken from the book of Hebrews chapter

3:20 4. Rest well.

3:23 And the King James translation says For the Word of God is

3:28 living and powerful and sharper than any 2 edged sword, piercing

3:34 even to the dividing and Thunder of soul and spirit and of the

3:38 joint and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and

3:43 intents of the heart. The amplified translation for

3:48 the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power, making

3:53 it active, operating, energizing and effective.

3:58 It is sharper than any 2 episodes, penetrating to the

4:03 dividing line of the breath of life that's the soul and the

4:07 immortal spirit, and of joints and marrow of the deepest part

4:13 of our nature, exposing and sifting and analysing and

4:18 judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

4:23 Now this new series. Deep things of his word first to

4:28 those make. It clear.

4:29 Is deep things of God's Word OK, so we're going to be dealing in

4:33 God's Word. And as the Spirit leads us now,

4:37 the truth is nothing can be hidden from God.

4:40 We may fool ourselves or other Christians or those we know.

4:43 All friends. Of fellowship, brethren with.

4:47 Our spiritual lives, but we cannot deceive God.

4:50 He knows who we really are because the Word of God is

4:53 living and powerful. That's why people ask questions

4:59 of how God's word contain the Old Testament are still relevant

5:04 to this day. Like how is it still relevant?

5:07 This is because it is living. So unlike other letters and

5:12 books, God's Word is powerful and living.

5:16 When you study God's Word contained in the Scriptures,

5:20 your entire being is opened up to Him and nothing is hidden.

5:24 Now listen. The Word of God reviews you to

5:27 you and reflects your reality in Christ to you.

5:32 Again, the Word of God reviews you to you and reflects your

5:36 reality in Christ to you. Now the Word of God is described

5:42 in many ways. Such as?

5:44 I'm going to love the list in the six.

5:45 Ways is described first. Being Isaiah chapter 55 verse

5:51 11, God's word will not return to him empty, but would do what

5:56 God desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it.

6:00 Jeremiah chapter 23 verse 29. God's word is like fire and like

6:06 a hammer that can break a rock into pieces.

6:10 John chapter 6, verse 63, God's word is Spirit and life.

6:15 Acts Chapter 7 verse 38 God's word is living.

6:20 Ephesians chapter 6 verse 17 God's word is part of the

6:24 believer's armor. Recall the armor, the part of

6:28 the armor that they said, the soul of the Spirit.

6:30 Yes, that's God's. Word then finally first Peter

6:35 chapter one, verse 23. God's word is living and

6:39 enduring through which people are born again.

6:43 Now to look at it more from the scriptures first Peter chapter

6:48 one, verse 23 For you have been born again, not of perishable

6:53 seed, but of imperishable through the living and enduring

6:57 word of God. So first question, how is the

7:01 word of God living and powerful? The Word of God is not simply a

7:06 collection of God's word, a vehicle for communicating ideas.

7:11 It is rather living, life changing and dynamic as it works

7:16 in US. Listen to this.

7:19 The demands of the Word of God requires decision.

7:23 That means you can choose transformation by God's word

7:27 according to Acts chapter 20 verse 32.

7:31 And I'm brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His

7:35 grace, which is able to build you up and give you an

7:39 inheritance among those that are sanctified.

7:43 Now the Word of God is able to do 2 things for you, 1 build you

7:48 up and two give you an inheritance among them that are

7:52 satisfied. The assignment of the Word of

7:56 God is to damage ignorance in your life.

7:59 Provided you dwell in the realm of ignorance and darkness as

8:03 highlighted in the Scripture, you are still within the domain

8:07 of Satan. A popular verse, Isaiah chapter

8:11 60 verse one. Arise and shine, for your light

8:14 has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

8:18 So you are not arising and you are not shining just because you

8:23 have been there for too long. No, but because the glory of the

8:27 Lord has risen upon you. Amplifying translation says

8:32 arise from spiritual depression to a new life.

8:35 Shine, be radiant to the glory and brilliance of the Lord, for

8:40 your light has come, and the glory and billions of the Lord

8:44 has risen upon you. Under verse Isaiah to the ninth

8:48 verse 2, the people that walked in darkness have seen a great

8:53 light. They that dwell in the land of

8:55 the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined.

8:59 And take good note of this. There is no way to strengthen a

9:04 believer outside the ministry of the Word of God.

9:08 The Word of God is beyond intellectual communication.

9:12 The exigencies of the Word of God is not always intellectual.

9:16 There is a dimension that is higher than the realm of

9:18 intellectual. That is the spirit

9:21 communication. You can receive realities

9:24 deposited in your spirit man that your mind cannot articulate

9:28 and your mind cannot give language to.

9:31 However, with time, with constant study of the Word of

9:34 God, this reality that has been deposited in your spirit begins

9:38 to find expression and you find yourself working on usual wisdom

9:43 in unusual dimension of power, confidence and faith is impacted

9:48 just like the wind. Now the layer of the word that

9:52 it did your understanding that correct your perception, your

9:56 thoughts and your ideas, even if they are age long, even if it's

10:00 generational, even if it's inherited, even if it was

10:03 learnt. This the Bible calls stronghold

10:07 according to Psalm chapter 18 verse 2, the Lord is my rock, my

10:13 fortress, my deliverer, my God is my rock in whom I take

10:18 refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

10:24 Now listen, The Word of God is living, and it gives life to

10:29 those who believe, energizing this present life and promising

10:33 eternal life. The fabricist imagined that the

10:38 Word of God was a set of static rules, but they were wrong.

10:43 The Word of God, living and powerful, breeds life for

10:47 people. Today.

10:49 God reaches out to those who look into its pages, calling

10:53 them to life, meeting their knees, expressing their deepest

10:57 emotions, offering answers to their greatest questions.

11:03 Now to conclude this episode 1. The word of God penetrates

11:09 through our outer facade and reveals what lies deep inside.

11:16 So the metaphor of A2 edged sword pictures the word of God

11:20 like a knife. Or you can say a scaple, the one

11:23 they use in surgery, revealing who we really are on the inside.

11:30 You know when a scaple if you've seen a.

11:32 Surgical operation. Done it once.

11:35 It cuts through the skin, nothing is hidden anymore.

11:39 You can see the muscle layers, you can see the fascias, you can

11:43 see everything. If you're going deep into the

11:46 person, you can see the organs. I can now know if it's healthy

11:51 or if it has a fibroid, a an abnormality or anything.

11:58 Everything is open and exposed. So also the Word of God descends

12:04 what is inside within us. It descends what is within us,

12:10 both good and evil. It penetrates the core of our

12:14 moral and spiritual lives. Nothing can be hidden from God,

12:18 neither can we hide from ourselves.

12:21 If we sincerely study the Word of God.

12:24 It reaches deep past our outer life as a knife passes through

12:28 the skin or scabble during surgeries, and it delves deep

12:33 into our inner lives and is a discerner of the thoughts and

12:38 intents of the heart. God's Word reveals who we are

12:43 and what we are not. Again, God's Word reveals who we

12:47 are and what we are not. God's powerful word will change

12:51 us. We must not only listen to it,

12:55 but we must also let it transform our lives.

12:59 So this is just the introduction of deep things of His Word.

13:04 Again, I encourage every single one of us to remain steadfast

13:09 with this series. It's a timely series and I would

13:12 really love us to take it as such.
